MARCH UPDATE 2021

On Friday 19th February, myself and my family visited Kmart (Botany) in search of goodie bags for my daughter's 9th Birthday outing.

Tuesday arrives and thanks to the Co-vid tracing App I received a notification advising that we were in possible contact with an individual who had tested Positive for Covid-19. That night, we sat on hold with Health line for nearly 7 hours waiting to speak to someone for advise on our next steps. Basically, we were advised we had to isolate for 14 days, get tested on the 5th day (being the following day, Wednesday 24th February) and even if we received a Negative result we had to continue the isolation period with a follow up test on the 12th day (Wednesday 3rd March) then complete isolation on the 14th day (Friday 5th March).

With all this happening, I had just returned back to work for re-training (after over a year of Maternity leave), Hubby was due to start a new role with his company, had all 3 of my children sorted with their new routines, my babysitter (thank you Sis-inlaw) sorted with my 11 month old son, my daughter's 9th birthday and a huge first Birthday planned for that coming Saturday. Safe to say, the timing was just perfect?!

In terms of Meuz, we were still receiving orders and emails from all our lovely customers and as much as we wanted to keep everyone updated with status and timelines, we were still unsure of how everything was to work whilst I was in Isolation (as majority of stock is held at my residence). As advised my health officials, we are unable to send anything outside of the premises until my isolation period is up - Friday 5th March.

We apologise sincerely for this huge delay and inconvenience, but please rest assured that we will be quickly processing orders as soon as we can on Friday. For urgent orders, please contact us directly on info@meuz.co.nz.

I can't re-iterate enough the importance of following the advise of our Health officials - Stay home if you're feeling unwell - Get tested - Follow the advice if you have been in contact and continue to practise good hygiene! Wash your hands!
